Privacy Policy
How DrugLab118 handles personal data submitted through this website.
Who we are
This website is operated by Drug Lab 118 Ltd ("DrugLab118", "we", "us"). For any privacy enquiry, contact info@druglab118.com.
What we collect
We only collect the personal data you choose to give us — principally when you submit the "Request a Briefing" form. That may include your name, organisation, email address, sector, and the content of your message.
QR scan pages and your location
The QR code on a DrugLab118 pack opens a scan page with a tutorial video and an option to share your location with someone you trust. Drug Lab 118 Ltd never receives, logs, or stores your location. It never passes through our servers.
- Your phone only shares your location if you allow it. If you do, the page turns it into a map link and opens WhatsApp or SMS with a message ready for you to send, or copies the link for you to paste yourself.
- To show the street address and map on the page, your phone sends the position directly to OpenStreetMap, which provides the address lookup and the map. We do not see this request.
- To show the right emergency number, the page works out your country from your connection, your phone's time zone, or, if you have allowed it, your location. It is not stored.
We do not track your location continuously or in the background. Sharing live location is something you start yourself inside WhatsApp or Google Maps; we cannot start it and cannot see it.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the briefing or information you requested.
- To maintain a record of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making.
Legal basis
We process enquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries, and/or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and our ongoing relationship with you, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@druglab118.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Cookies & analytics
This website uses only the cookies strictly necessary to serve the site, plus the Google Fonts service for typography. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Tutorial videos on the scan pages load only when you tap play. They are hosted by YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode), Vimeo, or on this site, and once playing, the video provider may set its own cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
